Shopping for clothes is not an impossible job, as long as you have enough knowledge on how to do it properly. That’s why, it is important that you are aware of the secrets on how to shop wisely.

Shopping wisely does not necessarily mean saving money while buying your essentials, but also getting high quality products. So, if you want to be a wise shopper, the best thing to do is know the things to consider before going to department stores or malls.

ü Checklist

Before buying new clothes, check your wardrobe and list down the things you need. If you planning to shop clothes for all members of the family, ask them what types of clothing they need. You may need to buy new dresses, men’s shirts, and jeans at least every year to update each family member’s wardrobe.

ü Budget

One of the best things you need to consider before shopping is the budget.

So, after making the checklist, set a budget for each item. Don’t forget to know your priorities so as not to overspend or forget the important things. Fortunately, many stores now offer cheap dresses that would surely give you a lot of savings.

ü Lifestyle

If you’re the type of woman who loves wearing something that project femininity, go for skirts and dresses. Avoid buying clothes that don’t fit your personality because a woman’s clothing and the way she carries herself with her attire says a lot not only on her lifestyle, but also on her personality.

ü Time

Having enough time for shopping allows you to get the right item without rushing yourself to do it.

So, if you are going to shop for special occasion clothing, set at least two weeks before the occasion to find a dress. Aside from that, you should also set time for finding shoes, bags, and accessories.

In any case, don’t forget to bargain when it is appropriate. The money you save from bargaining would surely be a huge addition to other things you need to buy.

By now, we hope, you’ve read our other two “Holiday Laptop Buying Guide” installments and gained an understanding of which category of laptop is right for your gift recipient and what laptop specs they want. IBM laptop battery

You’re all set to buy a laptop, and you may have narrowed it down to a few choices by looking at our reviews. It’s time to go shopping! Before you break out your credit card, consider the following shopping tips.

Try Before You Buy

Many people choose to buy a laptop online, where shoppers can find a wider selection and typically lower prices. That’s fine, but you really shouldn’t buy a new computer sight unseen if you can avoid it. Write down the names of some of the models you’re interested in, along with a few notes about why they caught your eye, and head to your local big-box electronics store.

See if the store has display units of any of the systems you’re considering, or at least very similar models by the same manufacturer. Try the keyboard–can you type easily on it? Is the touchpad a pain to use? Does the screen look good? If the laptop you want to buy has a glossy screen, look at other models with glossy screens and determine whether your gift recipient might prefer that look over a matte, antiglare finish. apple laptop batteries

Pick up the laptop you want to buy, and evaluate its heft.

Close the lid and see if the size is something that the recipient can fit into their chosen bag (don’t actually put it in a bag, of course, unless you want security all over you). Bear in mind that many display notebooks in stores have the battery removed, which makes them seem considerably lighter.

Once you have a feel for your desired laptop (or a very similar one), you can go back home and buy online with confidence. If you’re buying in a brick-and-mortar store, you might want to ask if the retailer has any sales coming up, or at least call around to different stores to see which one has the best price. Or use your mobile phone to check the latest prices online, and see how competitive the in-store price is. The store you prefer might even match the price of a local competitor. compaq laptop battery

Need More RAM? Do It Yourself

Let’s say that the laptop you want to buy comes with 2GB of RAM but is expandable to 4GB. You might be able to save some money if you upgrade the laptop’s RAM yourself instead of buying the 4GB option from the manufacturer. See how much more it costs to buy the machine with 4GB, and compare that with buying the RAM separately and installing it

.

Naturally, you’ll have to do a little homework first. Make sure that the laptop has an empty RAM socket (ask a sales rep if you’re not sure), and find out what type and speed of RAM you’ll need. If all of this seems intimidating, it’s okay–just buy the system with the RAM upgrade. Your time and frustration are worth only so much. Know Which Accessories to Get

If your gift recipient will need a spare battery, select one that is specifically made to work with the particular model of laptop. It’s not a bad idea to buy the battery right when you purchase the PC–especially if you’re buying online, where an extra battery may be offered as an option. Use caution if you buy an aftermarket battery from a manufacturer other than the one that made the laptop: Some of these batteries are priced really well but store less energy. Read user reviews and comments about third-party batteries carefully to make sure you’re not sacrificing battery life to save a few bucks.

As for external optical drives, don’t feel obligated to buy one from the manufacturer of the laptop. External optical drives that connect via USB are generally universal, so look around for a good price.

Among other laptop accessories, consider buying a small, wireless travel mouse. Even the best touchpad can be a nuisance at times, and you can find tons of compact, battery-operated wireless mice that are specifically designed to travel with a laptop. If your gift recipient wants to use a laptop mouse on an airplane, however, be aware that wireless versions are forbidden–they’ll need a wired model for use in-flight.

You can probably avoid spending cash on a specialized laptop bag or carrying case, which retail stores often mark up quite a lot. Unless you encounter a great bargain, or you find a special case made just for the unusually large or small laptop you’re buying and the gift recipient would love to have it, bide your time. Buying a really great bag is a whole other process in itself–don’t get something the person will hate just because it’s expedient and convenient.

If the salesperson tries to push other folderol on you, like screen wipes, blank discs, and extra cables, just say “no thanks.” These items almost always carry a high markup in stores, and you’re usually better off buying them online if you don’t think you need them right away.

When In Doubt, Go Faster

If, after going hands-on with a few laptops, you’re just not sure whether your gift recipient needs a faster processor, dedicated graphics, or more RAM, take the leap. Nobody ever complained that their laptop was too fast, but spending the next couple of years working on an annoyingly sluggish laptop will get old in a hurry. Expect software to become ever more resource-hungry over time, too; the applications that the laptop’s new owner will use next year will likely be a little more demanding than what they use today. And if they have an HDTV or they’re considering buying one in the future, an HDMI output on the laptop may come in handy.

Consider Whether an Extended Warranty Is Necessary

Most consumer-advocacy groups will tell you not to get an extended warranty; such an arrangement is usually a great profit-maker for the manufacturers and retailers that offer it, and most buyers don’t end up using it. Because they’re such good profit generators, salespeople will often give you the hard sell about how you need some sort of laptop protection program or extended warranty.

Be wary. Before you even think about signing up, ask a lot of questions. Ask to see the specifics about what is covered and what isn’t in writing–don’t simply depend on the word of the salesperson.

Laptops are a little different than most consumer electronics and desktop computers in that they’re, well, highly portable. People tend to throw them into bags, toss them around, accidentally knock them off tables, leave them to be poked and prodded by kids, and put them on the kitchen table, begging to be victimized by a horrific spill. Know your gift recipient and the environment where they’ll use their laptop. If you think they have a high probability of destroying their laptop within a couple of years, you might want to consider the extended warranty. (When we last surveyed readers on their satisfaction with extended warranties, we found that consumers who purchased them were very satisfied.) Also, laptop theft protection plans may be a good idea for college students, who have their laptops lost or stolen with alarming regularity.

very woman loves to feel sexy and attractive in a stunning piece of lingerie. Locating this very item can be more challenging than you may think, though. From a gorgeous black negligee to a cute pair of Victoria Secret boxers and cami, there’s something out there for everyone. Here are four helpful tips to finding the right nighttime apparel.

Get the right fit
Whether you choose to go to Victoria’s Secret, Macy’s, the local lingerie store or an online shop, make sure you get the right fit. Lingerie can come in any size from small through extra large, or they might be sized according to bra size (for example, 34A, 40D, 38B etc.). Don’t get frustrated if one store does not have your size or their merchandise doesn’t fit you well; so many more offer so much more. Just as you would with a bra, take the time to get fitted correctly. There’s no point in buying something that you are never going to wear.
Buy for you and someone special
Chances are you’re buying the lingerie with someone special in mind — but don’t forget that this piece of clothing is for you, as well. If you don’t feel good in your selection, then you aren’t going to feel good wearing it for someone else. The lingerie you choose should make you feel sexy and special. You’ve heard that you should be comfortable in your own skin — this holds true to lingerie, as well!
Color, style and material

Hair Removal tips for Girls

Beauty Tips in Urdu

Top Ten Cars

Maybe something silky and black means sexy to you — or maybe it’s a cute pair of pink boy shorts and a tank top. Every woman has different proportions and likes. If you are fair skinned, a yellow garment might not work best for you. Black looks good on almost everyone, and red simply makes the wearer feel special. Lace might make you itch, or cotton might be too warm on a hot summer night. Find the material that works best for you.
Be in the mood
How many times have you run into a store looking for a cute top, only to fall out of your shopping mood because nothing works for you? Lingerie is one item that requires the right mood. Make sure to have eaten a good meal or snack so low blood sugar doesn’t get you agitated. Bring some water in case you get thirsty. And go easy on yourself: Department store mirrors and fluorescent lighting don’t always flatter your body. If you (like many women) just do not feel comfortable shopping for this type of item in public, get online and order something that interests you in a bunch of sizes and styles, and try them on in the luxury of your own home. Check return policies on everything you purchase online or in a store beforehand so that you can return whatever you decide against. Be patient: There’s lingerie out there that’s perfect for you. Feel good in what you choose, and wear your sexy new underthings with confidence.

www.youtube.com MILAN – The No. 21 collection is showcased at Milan Fall and head designer Alessandro Dell’Acqua comments on his stellar line. He says this collection stems from the idea of basics, using typical fabrics like white poplin for a classic men’s shirt. From there, he creates more elaborate garments that are rich in detail but even those are lined with the typical poplin. He also worked with fabrics like georgette, chiffon, silk, heavy crepe de chine, and brocade from upholstry. He especially likes the idea of working with a flexible fabric that is suitable for many things, especially white shirts. His colors are fairly limited this season to white, red, powder pink, khaki, and some blue.

Fashionable shoes are always a craze amongst women. Stilettos, Mules, and Ballet Flats, women have a different pair of shoe for every occasion. Style, durability and glamour are the three key features of every womans shoe. Owning footwears of her favourite brand is every womans dream.

However, when it comes to purchasing the right pair of shoes its a tough deal. Getting the perfect fit in your budget is not an easy task especially if you are very choosy. While shopping for your favourite pair of shoes one comes across so many options that she remains too confused to make a choice.

Here are five tips that will make your task easier:

Compare the Products from different Brands

Being loyal to a particular brand doesnt always help. You might be obsessed of your favourite brand but that doesnt necessarily mean that the others wont offer you a better choice. Every brand has a speciality. Say for example if a particular brand specializes in making Stilettos, its not necessary that the same brand sells the best Ballet Flats. So look around, compare the different brands and then make a choice.

Examine your Shoe well

Its very important to inspect your shoe well before making a purchase. Take a detailed look at the shoe from various angles to be sure of your choice. You should also have a little look at minute things like the stitch, material, etc.

Know your Shoe Size

Different brands have a different shoe size which means that size 7 in Brand A might be size 8 in Brand B. Its is hence very important to try the shoe and see if it fits you well. Once you are sure that your choice is a perfect fit you can very much go ahead and look forward to purchasing it.

Take a little walk in the store with the Shoes on

Even if the pair of shoe is a perfect fit it might not be comfortable for you to walk in. Walking a bit inside the store does you no harm and you can very well be sure about the comfort level of a particular shoe. Never go for shoes which do not allow you a free movement of your toes. One should not just be conscious about the brand name or the glamour in a shoe as the comfort level is also a major question.

Do not assume that Flats are better than High Heels

The assumption that Flat shoes are more efficient than the High heeled ones is actually a false notion. Completely flat soles can cause your feet to roll inward while walking. The better choice always is a flat foot wear with a contoured foot-bed.

Some flats also come with a built-in-arch support to make your feet and ankle more stable. Many good designs come with straps between your mid-foot to make it a more comfortable fit. For daily use, choose a shoe with a heel between a half inch to an inch.

Keep these small tips in your mind the next time you go shopping and you can be sure that this time itll be a more pleasant experience.
